Function

This method (patent no. 10 2009 017 932) can be used for the online measurement of hydrocarbons and other chemical constituents in many areas of industry and research, e.g. in the field of pure gas and breathing gas, in the chemical industry, in particular petrochemistry, ambient air monitoring, sewage treatment, etc.

How it works

The GO-Mini-ATC (Air Total Carbon) is used to determine the total hydrocarbon content of the air (optionally also other gas components). Simultaneous online measurement of methane to determine the NMHC (None Methane Hydrocarbons) value.

Unlike conventional air measurements, the absolute value of the organically bound carbon in the gas stream is not determined, but the delta is formed from the concentrations of two gas streams.

The measured values are determined by converting the CO2 concentration in the gas streams.
